Some projects require an architect who can also build. This four-story, 7,300 square foot panoramic ocean view home demanded exactly that — a complete architectural redesign of the permit set, a $2.5M+ remodel scope, and the structural expertise to execute it.

Rezidential Development led the full architectural redesign and built the project through finish framing. The scope included adding over 2,000 square feet to an existing structure, connecting the main house and casita into a single cohesive residence, and massive grading into bedrock to create one of the most distinctive features on the property — a 10,000-bottle wine cellar carved from the hillside itself. The retaining walls required to achieve that grade represent the kind of structural complexity that separates builders with real coastal hillside experience from those without it.

The architectural redesign touched every aspect of the permit set — massing, floor plan, structural systems, and the integration of two previously separate structures into one. The foundation and framing were completed to standard before the project transitioned to finish.
